New Zealand-born, UK-based designer Cassandra Ellis at all times appears to toe the road between design and one thing extra. She described the land round one mission as “like strolling by means of a sonnet”. About one other area—Kettle’s Yard in Cambridge—she wrote, “The magic is that it isn’t formally inside adorned; it’s as an alternative a protracted and rambling poem revealing somebody’s life.” Together with her contact, rooms can really feel, themselves, like verses.
Ellis has as a lot a approach with shade as she does with phrases, so it’s no shock we’re taken by her latest paint assortment: the cheerily named Waving & Smiling, simply launched from her personal Atelier Ellis. Have a look.
